The Sagebrush Steppe Regional Land Trust is excited to announce the addition of a new staff member, Kelly Conde. Conde will apply her strong background in communications and outreach to her new role as the Conservation Manager for the Land Trust.
Conde joins the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust team after three years in Stanley, Idaho working for the conservation group, the Sawtooth Society. There, she helped bolster membership outreach, expand the membership base, and build the Sawtooth Society volunteer program into the largest in the area.
A native of Boise, Conde spent most of her life in Idaho. Even after moving to Montana for school, the open lands of her home state drew her back time and again. Conde is excited to dedicate her time to protecting those spaces through her new role with the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust.
With Conde at the helm, the Land Trust plans to expand its land protection program. Her new position is at the heart of the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust’s mission to protect and enhance southeast Idaho’s natural and working lands now and for future generations.
