Volunteers Needed: Weeding and Garden Prep at Marshall Public Library

Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust is excited to work with Marshall Public Library and help them plant native flora in one of their garden beds. Volunteers are needed to come help weed and prep the garden bed so it is ready for planting this fall. Please wear clothing that can get dirty, bring water, and get ready to have some fun! Please bring a pair of gardening gloves if you wish to use some. If you have an extra trowel handy, bring that as well!

The plan is to remove existing landscaping fabric, pull any weeds and grass that is in the bed, and lay cardboard down to help suppress weeds from growing back.

*If you have any extra cardboard that you do not need, please bring this as well. We will use it to help keep weeds from growing back!
