The family of Bill Davidson is hosting their annual Bill Davidson Memorial BBQ and fundraiser for Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust on June 30, 2023 from 6-9 PM at 353 Washington Avenue, Pocatello, Idaho. This year, we will honor the founders of Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust for launching our organization in 2004. Their dedication and shared vision of protecting and conserving farmlands, open spaces, and wildlife habitat in Southeast Idaho continue to this day.
Donations to Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust help protect, connect, and enhance wildlife habitat, working lands, and community spaces in Southeast Idaho, now and for future generations.
Food and beverage will be provided by the generosity of the Davidson and Hulet family.
Bill Davidson dedicated his life to conserving and protecting wildlife habitat and open spaces throughout southeast Idaho. In 1960, he graduated from the University of Idaho with a degree in Wildlife Management and went on to serve 30 years in the Idaho Fish and Game Department. In his retirement, concerned with the widespread development of wildlife habitat and open space, he and fellow community leaders set out to establish the Sagebrush Steppe Land Trust – an organization that would hold land in trust, undeveloped, in perpetuity.
